Stacie celebrated her birthday on December 2nd. She was born in Waco, Texas but her parents only stayed there a short time. They moved to South Ogden when she was about one. Stacie was their first child. She has one younger brother and one younger sister. They lived within walking distance of her school and a great park. She loved playing at those places with many friends and she remembers playing lots of tag and night games in their small community.
Stacie and Tim have four children. Sydney is the only one left at home still. All of their kids still live in Utah though, with a couple down at UVU with their families and then one family in Clearfield. She has one grandson. He will be turning three in January and is at such a fun age.
Something that some might not know is that Stacie feels like she is a city girl, but also feels like she has acclimated to country life fairly well. She loves living in our community and the slower lifestyle. Although, she says that she and her family are not animal raisers.
A couple of Stacie's hobbies include reading and crocheting. She also loves being a grandma.
Stacie's heroes are her parents. They are wonderful! Her father is a very sweet and hardworking man. Her mother has never met someone that didn't become her friend. They sound like lovely people to look up to.
Stacie's favorite books are the Scriptures and The Princess Bride. She said she never goes long before she needs to pull out the Princess Bride again. She has read it several times. She also enjoys the movie and feels like it does the book justice which often does not happen.
We hope that you had a very wonderful birthday, Stacie! You are a fantastic member of our community and ward and we appreciate all that you do for us.
