Shantel celebrated her birthday yesterday, October 22nd. She was born in Brigham City and grew up in Tremonton. She and Matt have three fun little kids, McKinley, Mattisyn, and Maverik.
Something that many people may not know is that she has had four back surgeries for scoliosis.
Shantel has several hobbies. She loves scrapbooking, crocheting, camping and fishing. She also really loves watching sports. She is a big football fan and cheers for the Chicago Bears.
When asked who her heroes are she answered with both sets of grandparents. Both couples have been married for over 60 years. That is a big deal in this world. She also loves their examples of working in the temple and serving missions.
Shantel also loves reading. Her favorite authors are Rachel Ann Nunes and Nora Roberts.
